Rabies Vaccine Clinic Volunteer Sign Up: Saturday, September 29
Thank you for your interest in volunteering at the One Health Club Rabies Vaccine Clinic, in honor of World Rabies Day! This is a great opportunity to get more hands on experience with small animals and to see a high volume vaccine clinic in action.
The clinic will take place at 5 locations in Larimer County on Saturday, September 29, 2012: two locations in Ft. Collins, and locations in Loveland, Berthoud, and Wellington.
We need veterinary students to assist with *very basic* physical exams--essentially taking temperatures, pulses, and respiratory rates. We will also need your help with restraining patients for their injection. Please bring stethoscopes and thermometers if you have them.
The time commitment is about five hours, from 8:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. (the actual clinic runs from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.).
