Journals Are Archives Too: A Writing Generative Workshop
Wednesday, November 19th at 5PM!

Throughout history, the productions and cultural, political, and intellectual works of black, brown,  indigenous, & queer folks has often been overlooked, ignored, or outright erased. But we have always been here. Our stories, whether the world recognizes us or not, will never go away. In this generative writing workshop, writers will use journal entries, notes, lists, letters, and photographs to create written works that center our personal histories, mobilize us, and hope for a better future.

Please bring any of the listed items, or any meaningful physical artifact for our writing workshop.

Participants are encouraged to submit to Poetry House's upcoming anthology in partnership with Sinister Wisdom, titled, Archived As: I Said I Love You. Please view the submittable link here.

This is an in person workshop.
