Tutoring-Fall 2025
Northern Virginia Resettling Afghan Families Together (NOVA RAFT), Fresh Start Refugee Assistance Center, and George Mason University’s Afghan Refugee Mentorship Program (GMU ARMP) have formed a dynamic partnership with the Alexandria City Public Schools (ACPS) and student leaders at Alexandria City High School (ACHS) allowing us to serve the highest need Afghan refugee middle and high school students for school year literacy and academic enrichment. The program includes English classes, subject-specific tutoring for high school students, career exploration, as well as exciting outings.
