2019 Spring Pitcher and Catcher Interest Form
We are collecting information regarding the level of experience and interest from all of our potential pitchers and catchers. This helps us to plan our evaluation night schedule and also helps coaches understand how much the player may be interested in either of these very important positions; some players are great pitchers or catchers, but don't want to spend the majority of their time in that position, while others are still developing, but would like to be considered for more time in the positions. IT'S TOTALLY OKAY if a player does not yet know how much she loves the position!

It is important that each family understands that these two positions do often require practice time in addition to and outside of the weekly team practice. Due to limited practice time, coaches need to focus on the entire team during practice and will not always have time to work on pitching and catching. To facilitate development at the recreational level, LNGS provides as many free clinics as possible based on budget, field availability, and professional coach availability. LNGS strives to support every player who is interested in putting in the work to learn and improve. Ultimately, the most successful players attend clinics when they are offered, and practice on their own with coaches, friends, siblings, or parents.

Please note that this questionnaire is for informational purposes only. For pitchers, all players who have experience pitching and would like to pitch during the Spring 2018 season will need to be evaluated. This is important for draft purposes, but please feel free to contact us at lagunaniguelfastpitch@gmail.com if you have questions related to this process.

NOTE: If your player has never pitched before, she should not attend the pitching evaluations. However, you should talk to your coach at the beginning of the season to let him/her know she is interested in pitching and to develop a plan for supporting her aspirations. Please do still fill out the form below.

Thank you for your time!
