Potential Microloans For Microbusinesses

Kia ora!

We are inviting business owners to help us understand what interest and demand there is for a microloan offering that could support microbusinesses.

Foundation North is currently exploring the potential demand for a proposed microloan offering up to $50,000 with affordable interest rate— aimed to provide accessible, ethical, and affordable funding to microbusinesses across Aotearoa New Zealand, particularly those facing challenges in accessing mainstream lending.

*Whilst MBIE define a “Microbusiness” (MSME) as having $3million NZD or less in annual revenues and 5 or fewer employees, this initiative recognises most microbusinesses in Aotearoa NZ have much lower annual revenues.

If you're running a microbusiness, we would love to invite you to be part of this initiative and share your feedback through this short online survey.

Your responses will be used to help us understand the potential market demand for microloans and how it can best support the start-up and growth of microbusinesses across Aotearoa NZ. Your feedback could play a key role in making this opportunity available in the near future!

Even if you are not interested in a microloan, your insights will provide valuable input to help us gain a complete understanding of the potential market demand.

Your privacy is important: All responses will be completely confidential. We won’t collect any names or emails, so your answers can't be traced back to you. All responses will be combined and summarised in a report produced on behalf of Foundation North. Your information will only be used for this research and will not be shared or used for any other purpose.

This survey will take around 5 minutes to complete.

If you have any questions or need more information, please feel free to contact me -lisa@lisalopeti.com or 021 113 5074.

Your participation and valuable input is greatly appreciated!

Ngā mihi nui,

Lisa Lopeti

*A copy of the final report will be provided to the community organisation who has shared this survey with you. If you would personally like a copy of the report sent to you, please include your email at the end of this survey.
