Grand Rapids Area Virtual Academy (GRAVA) — ISD 318
This form is for students who have ALREADY BEEN ACCEPTED into GRAVA for 2026–2027. It is the first step in course registration — use it to tell us your course preferences so we can get the ball rolling.

IMPORTANT: This is a starting point, not a final schedule. Sean Martinson (Alternative Education Principal) reviews every submission personally. For grades 9–12, a credit check is required for every incoming student before schedules are finalized, so some selections below may still change.

For reference, GRHS requires 23 total credits to graduate: English 4.0, Social Studies 3.5, Math 3.0, Science 3.0, Physical Education 1.0, Health 0.5, Money Matters 0.5, Arts 1.0 (visual art, music, or technical design — does not have to be every year), and 6.5 credits of flexible electives. A typical annual course load is about 6.0 credits (12 semester courses): roughly 2.0 elective credits per year in grades 9–11, and about 3.5 elective credits in grade 12. A full-year (A/B) course = 1.0 credit; a single-semester course = 0.5 credit.
