Skills Development Scotland Creative Industries Skills Forum, consultation by the SMIA
Skills Development Scotland have asked the Scottish Music Industry Association to join their Creative Industries Skills Forum. The forum will meet quarterly. It has been formed:

"To ensure that skills issues across the Scottish Creative Industries sector are articulated by industry leaders, understood and prioritised by the public sector agencies and effectively addressed through private and public sector investments and partnerships."

The first meeting is on Friday 27 January. SMIA chair Dougal Perman will be attending on behalf of the Association. He will gather more information and report back. If you have any specific points about skills gaps or development needs, please do let us know.

The questions are all optional but the more data you can provide, the better our understanding of industry needs. All data will be anonymised and treated as confidential.
