The programme is free / donations-based, but as group work is an important part of it, we ask participants to only sign up if they are reasonably confident that they can take part in all or most of the sessions.

Which of the following sessions can you take part in?

Sat 26th April, 10am - 3pm, FIELD DAY 1 Lukestone Farm and Locherwood Community Woodland, Clyde Muirshiel: Tree identification and tree planting,

Sat 3rd May, 10am – 3pm, FIELD DAY 2 around Inchinnan: field day and photo walk

Sat 17th May, 10am - 3pm, Field DAY 3 Clyde Muirshiel Country Park: Habitat and breeding bird survey

All or most of the online sessions, Tuesdays from 7pm - 8:30pm on 22nd April, 29th April, 6th May, 13th May and 20th May? If not, which one(s) can't you make?

The field days will be spent partly or mostly outdoors. We ask everyone to dress for the weather, including sturdy waterproof boots and clothes, and bring water bottles and packed lunch.

While we will walk at a slow pace, we will cover some uneven terrain. There may be some changes to the programme if it is very wet to spend more time indoors, but it is best to assume that we will be spending a good part of the field days outside.

No prior knowledge about ecology or conservation are required. However, we ask all participants to contribute some notes and reflections of the in-person sessions to to a report written by the Centre for Human Ecology. They don't have to be very long, and can be written or recorded on your phone. We also ask participants to share some of the photos taken during the photo walk with us.

The report will be published, but your contributions can be anonymous if you wish.

I confirm that I am happy to contribute my reflections to a report which will be in the public domain.

Participants will be asked to make their own way to the field sites. We will arrange private car shares from the nearest train stations.

Please let us know what your transport situation is:

I have my own car, and would be happy to offer a lift to other participants from a nearby station if needed.

I don't have my own car, and would accept a lift from other participants.

I will make my own way to the sites, and would rather not take part in shared travel arrangements.
