Read by 4th and the Free Library of Philadelphia are pleased to invite partners and library staff to propose innovative ideas that will advance the goals and bold ideas of the Read by 4th campaign. Thanks to support from the Knight Foundation, selected proposals will receive funds to implement their idea.

Those wishing to submit an idea for funding should attend a pre-application workshop where facilitators will lead brainstorming sessions using principles of design thinking to foster creativity and help develop ideas into fully realized projects.
 
Our next design thinking workshop is scheduled for Thursday, June 7th from 9am - noon at the IBC Center for Innovation located at 17th and Market. The workshop itself will take place 9am - 11am; attendees are invited to stay until noon to complete their applications or continue to brainstorming with other attendees (optional).
