Little Ray's Reptiles Summer Camp 2019 (Ottawa)
The Jr. Zookeeper Camp is an entertaining and educational opportunity that gives kids aged 7-15 a unique experience. Through fun, interactive, and engaging activities, campers will learn a great deal about the zoo animals and what is required to take care of them properly. Each and every day, we will run the following activities:

1) Animal Care: campers will be assigned zookeeper duties. Tasks include misting, filling water, checking for animal health, feeding, and of course, cleaning animal's living spaces.
2) Craft: Either the craft will be representative of an animal or even FOR an animal!
3) Activity: These activities can range from nature walks, scavenger hunts, or educational games.
4) Treasure Hunt: The highly engaging and very popular *NEW* Zoo Clues Treasure Hunt!
5) Two opportunities to handle a variety of animals including snakes, lizards, and mammals.

***Most of our Counsellors will be bilingual!***

There are limited spots available, so the sooner we receive your registration, the better!

***WAIT! Do you have a PROMO CODE? If so, be sure to email it to katie@lrnc.ca BEFORE submitting this registration! Include the name(s) of the camper(s) who it will apply to.***

Where will the camp run?
The Jr. Zookeeper camp will run at our Bank Street location: 5305 Bank St, Gloucester, ON K1X 1H2. Are you concerned that it may be too far? Don't worry! We will be offering charter buses in the East and West ends to pick up and drop off your camper(s)! Read the next section for more details about the charter bus.
Bus Information
To make this exciting camp more accessible, we will have charter transportation (van/small bus) available to pick up and drop off your children. There will be a Little Ray's Camp Counselor on-board during each trip to take attendance and ensure rider safety.

It will be the responsibility of parents/guardians to make sure their camper(s) get on of and off the charter vehicle safely and they must have arrangements to drop off and pick up their camper(s) at predetermined times. The times that the vehicle will arrive at each stop will depend on the needs of the campers week-to-week, but will be anywhere between the times of 7:15 and 8:45 in the morning and between 4:30 and 6:00 in the afternoon. Parents/Guardians will be notified of the exact times for each stop the week before the first day of your camper's camp week(s).

***Note: Due to construction, shuttle travel from N4 to camp is upwards of 1.5 hours. It is recommended campers bring a device & headphones to watch a move, a good book to read, or anything else to keep them occupied.***

The map below shows all of the stops that the charter bus will make. More information can be found on the chart below it.
