There are times throughout the year when your child’s picture will be taken. Some of these pictures will be displayed publicly (i.e. newspaper, school’s public website, social media) and some will be displayed privately (i.e. teacher website, yearbook). We understand that not everyone wishes to have their child’s picture displayed in public view. If you wish NOT to have your child’s picture shared publicly, please check the box below. DON'T CHECK ANYTHING IF YOU ARE FINE WITH PHOTOS.

I have read and understood the drop off and dismissal procedures. I WILL NOT DISMISS MY CHILD AS A WALKER AND PICK UP MY CHILD ON A NEIGHBORHOOD STREET! Walkers must walk to a house address within the district's 3/4 mile radius defined walking distance. *

Children who are driven to school must be dropped off in the front circle. Please do not release your child on a local street! Students are to exit the car at the first opportunity the car can stop in the front circle line. The library door and front main door are available for students to enter the building. PLEASE DO NOT wait to release your child from the car at the front door. We can move the car line along much faster and reduce the backup on New Meadow Road with your cooperation. The front circle is a moving zone with one-way traffic. Allow your child to exit your car only on the passenger side. No parking is ever allowed in the fire lane closest to the building. Children walking to school should cross only at the crosswalks. Crossing guards are at the corners of New Meadow Road and Kent Street and New Meadow Road and Massasoit Avenue. Children arriving between 7:30 and 7:45 A.M. should proceed to their classrooms. Since cars and buses will be arriving in the circle and Kent parking areas, walkers should not enter those areas except on pathways. Children should not arrive before 7:30 A.M. due to lack of supervision. This will be strictly enforced for the safety of all children. Attendance is taken promptly at 7:45. The first teaching period begins at 7:45. Please ensure your children arrive to school promptly. Dismissal takes place at 2:25. Bus students are released first. Those students for the car pick up line are dismissed second. Walkers/ bikers are dismissed last for safety purposes. All students who are not living within the ¾ mile walking radius MUST be picked up in the car pick up line on Kent Street if not taking the bus. This line takes no longer than 15 minutes to clear each day. CHILDREN ARE NOT TO BE DISMISSED AS WALKERS AND BE PICKED UP ON NEIGHBORHOOD STREETS BY CARS! THIS IS STRICTLY ENFORCED! THIS IS A SERIOUS SAFETY HAZARD!
