Thanks for demanding a coal-free MSU!
Thank you for telling President Lou Anna K. Simon of Michigan State University that continuing to operate the largest on-campus coal plant in the country is unacceptable. President Simon has the power to be a leader and innovator and transition to 100% clean, renewable energy sources, we simply need to show her that the student, community, and alumni support is there. A sample phone call is below:

President Simon’s Office Phone: 517.355.6560

"Hello. My name is __________. I am a [Michigan State student, concerned citizen, etc] calling about MSU's campus coal plant, which is the LARGEST on-campus coal plant in the United States. Groups like MSU Beyond Coal and MSU Greenpeace have urged the university to retire the coal plant and switch to 100% clean energy for the past two years. I stand with all Spartans on campus who deserve clean air and ask that President Simon commit to stop burning coal on campus and switch to 100% clean energy.

I want to see MSU truly Be Spartan Green. It’s time President Simon show leadership on this issue and protect human health. Thank you for your time."
