Intro to G{Code} Application
G{Code} is an innovative co-living and co-learning program based in Roxbury, MA, dedicated to providing young female and non binary people of color with the tools they need to succeed. Our cohorts will learn to code, collaborate, and create a marketable set of skills with which to find a job all while living together in a supportive community setting.

While we prepare for our 2 year co-living program, we encourage participation in our Intro to G{Code} prep program. The purpose of the program is to gain preliminary exposure to coding and the tech field in an intensive, encouraging, community-focused environment designed and facilitated by women of color. Over the span of 6 weeks, cohorts will learn to build a web application, gain career insight from tech professionals, obtain mentors, develop personally and professionally, and determine if a journey in the tech industry is a good fit. Graduates of the program are supported and encouraged to participate in further learning through apprenticeships, internships, bootcamps, and self-learning paths.

The program will run virtually from June 12th to July 25th on Saturdays and Sundays from 11am to ~3pm. Office hours, community time, and other optional one-off events will occur on additional days of the week. Please note that we will not hold class on the weekend of July 4th.
