NNA Special Election Nomination Form (for September 2021 Election)
Please submit this form if you wish to be placed on the ballot for the Northwest Neighborhood Association's special election for Executive Committee positions. The four Executive Officer positions are elected positions for a calendar year. The current special election at the upcoming September 2021 NNA General Meeting is to select a new President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer due to the need for current officers to resign for personal reasons. Nominations must be submitted via this form or to
no later than 12:00 midnight EDT on September 1, 2021. We will hold the election at the September 2021 NNA general meeting (TBA).
Official election ballots will be sent by email, posted on the NNA Facebook page, and on the NNA website once nominations close. Current NNA members can vote from online or in-person at the September 2021 NNA meeting. New NNA Executive Officers will be announced no later than one week following the meeting and will assume their responsibilities on October 1, 2021. The ballot will contain a special provision that, if approved, will extend the new officers' term of office through December 31, 2022 to re-establish a normal election cycle based on calendar year.
