A collaborative gathering for United Methodists envisioning and building a new liberative, relevant, affirming, and thriving church.
Imagining — To cast a vision and build momentum for a new liberative, relevant, affirming, and thriving church
Resourcing — To equip congregations and pastors with resources that engage and empower them in a discernment process about their future
Connecting — To network congregations and/or individuals seeking affiliation in a new Wesleyan expression or yearning for accountable community
Engaging — To evaluate potential legislative outcomes of 2020 General Conference
“If you have come to help me, you are wasting your time.
If you have come because your liberation is bound up with mine, then let us work together.”
~Words used by Lilla Watson, Aboriginal elder, artist, activist and educator from Queensland, Australia.
Tuesday, December 3 at 9am and ends Wednesday, December 4 at 1pm.
