LESSONS
Lessons are taught during school hours and every effort is made to reduce disruption to academic work.
Pupils are excused for one 40 minute lesson per week on a rotational basis.
Notice of each lesson is given in advance by way of a posted timetable on the music notice board and pupils are REQUIRED to check their lesson time each week. Students will also receive a sticker from their instrumental teacher which is placed in their journal.

Should a pupil be unable to attend their scheduled lesson they must advise their instrumental teacher (or Ms HEALY: ernestinehealy@firhousecc.ie) IN ADVANCE, to ensure that alternative arrangements can be made.
WHERE THIS DOES NOT HAPPEN FEES FOR THAT LESSON ARE CHARGEABLE.
Attendance at music lessons is compulsory and pupils are expected to practise regularly between lessons.
