Earth Day 2019 at Grand Park presented by Grand Park, The Music Center, and the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power on Thursday, April 11th, 2019 from 9am - 2pm.
The Music Center, Grand Park, and the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power collaborate to offer Downtown L.A.’s residents, workers, and visitors' ways to live clean and go green with a free all-ages event. Attendees will discover energy efficiency and water conservation displays; sustainable gardening tours; composting, electric and solar vehicle demonstrations, tree giveaways, recycled art projects, E-waste drop-off, fitness and yoga classes, and the opportunity to eat lunch and enjoy a walk-through of Grand Park’s sustainable landscaping.
All vendors must be connected to the themes of Earth Day (for example: renewable resources, water conservation, efficient energy methods etc.). This event is related to sustainability activities and projects; all related paper marketing material must be kept to a minimum distribution. We encourage email sign ups to keep in touch with your future customers.
Due to the large amount of school groups in attendance, we encourage vendors to provide activations for youth ages 5- 12. Activities must relate to the theme of Earth Day, specifically, educating young Angelenos about to participate in sustaining a healthy planet. See section 2 for details.
