Given that so many of us are indoors and have more time on our hands than usual we have a unique opportunity to do political education work together.
I have found the book "This is an Uprising: How Nonviolent Revolt is Shaping the Twenty-First Century" to be an excellent resource for anybody involved in social movement organizing and would love to host a book group to read it with others!

The book analyzes a host of recent movements from around the world to draw out lessons and frameworks for thinking about how mass movements function and can be most effective. For anybody actively organizing and/or concerned with the question of how to change the world for the better it is an excellent and instructive read.
The article and interview below give one a good sense of what is covered in the book.

I have access to a fairly large supply of copies of the book that can be sourced at cost (5 dollars) and am working with a team to set up a safe distribution system. The book is also available on Kindle, and the first chapter can also be sent out to folks who don't get a book in time.
Please feel free to share this with other people you think would be interested in joining the group.
Cheers,
