Pitch@ASB is a monthly pitching clinic jointly organized by the Asia School of Business, Innovation & Entrepreneurship Center, and GUIDE. It aims to cultivate and empower startups by honing their pitching abilities, elevating their credibility, and equipping them with the necessary skills for fundraising endeavors.

Asia School of Business (ASB) was established in 2015 through a collaboration between Bank Negara Malaysia and MIT Sloan School of Management. ASB is committed to developing transformative and principled leaders who will create a positive impact in the emerging world and beyond.

The Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center (IEC) at ASB strives to nurture a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship among students, faculty, alumni, and partners through interconnected action-based initiatives. IEC offers world-class thought leadership, immersive programs, exciting events, and top-notch infrastructure, accessible to the entrepreneurship ecosystem.

GUIDE

GUIDE is an independent organization dedicated to enabling entrepreneurial ecosystem through building entrepreneurial capacity. We focus on creating and implementing mission-specific programs, as well as establishing impactful ventures for entrepreneurial ecosystems across Asia and other emerging economies.

As part of our commitment to developing strong talents and innovative ventures, GUIDE also operates the Chief of Staff School and the GUIDE Founders Program as standalone initiatives.

Pitch@ASB consist of a series of monthly pitching clinic sessions at the Asia School of Business, Innovation & Entrepreneurship Center that allow you to use it as a training ground to pitch your startup idea (Learn2pitch) before you ever step into an actual high-stage pitching session with grant givers and/or investors (Ready2pitch). 


Learn2pitch

This pitching clinic session is an avenue for entrepreneurs to refine their business pitches and receive invaluable feedback from panelists in order to enhance their presentations for the crucial fundraising pitch to potential investors. 

NEW 2024 (Tentative) dates:

  • 21 February 2024
  • 20 March 2024 ---  Special Female Entrepreneurs Edition 
  • 24 April 2024

Ready2pitch

This is an exclusive Fundraising Pitch session. The session connects entrepreneurs directly with a curated panel of angel investors and venture capital fund managers, allowing them to showcase their startups, request funding, and receive immediate feedback. 

Tentative dates:

  • Coming soon in 2024 --- Date TBA 

Until the end of the season, applications for Learn2pitch slots are accepted on a rolling basis. We recommend you apply not earlier than a month before the event or later than two (2) weeks before the event. 

*Dates are subjected to change. Invitations will be sent out to shortlisted startups.
