NUW Scholars Student Sign-up
The Center for Native American and Indigenous Studies (CAIIS) is excited to invite you to join the Native UW (NUW) Scholars Program! This is a cohort-driven program that will provide a one-week on-campus experience for incoming first-year freshmen and transfer students before the Autumn 2023 academic quarter begins.

The NUW Scholars cohort also offers and encourages attendance to an optional, year-long, two-credit seminar that meets one hour per week. This seminar is designed to build community and help students braid their academic and social life on the UW campus and within Coast Salish lands.

Activities include: meeting faculty and staff, campus tours, cultural events and workshops, off-site field trips, workshops on financial literacy, library tutorials, introduction to various majors, and other introductions to University systems.

Please fill out the following application to apply for this program.

Applications due before: August 1, 2023
