Emerging Practitioners in Philanthropy (EPIP) is a national network of foundation professionals and social entrepreneurs who strive for excellence and equity in the practice of philanthropy. Instructions
This application may take anywhere from 30-45 minutes to complete. Submit completed applications by November 11, 2017 at 5:00pm. Selected candidates will be contacted by a Steering Committee member to schedule a phone interview and may be asked to provide a resume.

Eligibility
Steering Committee positions are open to anyone eligible for EPIP membership in the Greater Washington D.C. region. Steering Committee members must maintain active EPIP membership throughout their tenure.

Term Length
Steering Committee terms are January 1 to December 31. Steering Committee members are elected to a two-year term that is renewable for an additional third year.

Time Commitment
We find the time commitment to average about 8-10 hours a month, depending on your position, with a planning retreat at the start of each year. All Steering Committee members are expected to participate in EPIP DC Steering Committee meetings (1.5 hours) in person or by phone and most programming events.
