Woodhill: Permission for child to bring a mobile phone into school
Children in Year 5 or Year 6, who regularly walk home alone, are allowed to bring a mobile phone with them so that they can be in contact with their parents when walking to and from their house.

When the children arrive at school, they must place their mobile in the storage box provided in the school office, and only collect it at the end of school. Under no circumstances, are mobile phones allowed in any classroom. If a child is found to be breaking this rule, then appropriate measures will be put in place by the school leadership team, including the withdrawal of this mobile phone permission.
