Christian College Assistance Program
This scholarship is for any student who is or their family is considered a "consistent" attender of FMC. The student must be an undergraduate working toward a bachelor's or associate's degree, accepted by the designated school before being considered for the scholarship. The student must remain in good standing in the college. College students who benefit from the scholarship are are asked to make FMC their home church while in college and to attend FMC when home from college.

* Special Note: It is the responsibility of the student to complete and turn in the FMC Scholarship "Each" year they wish to receive funds. If they want funding all 4 years then 4 applications need to be submitted.

Students will receive funds when:
- They have sent Jake their completed digital application
- They have handed Jake a paper copy of their school's "Church Matching" form at least 3 weeks prior to its deadline.
- They have submitted their digital tracking form that records volunteer 15-20 hours with the understanding that if volunteer hours have not been completed by the submission of the form, they will be before the student leaves for school.

Additionally Jake Shipe has phased out the paper application, and has transitioned to a digital application for better record keeping and tracking purposes. Scholarship information is still available in the literature rack or on FMC's webpage: http://www.fairview-missionary.org/fairview-college-scholarship/

What year in school is this for you? *
FMC is only able to assist students with a total of 4 years of undergraduate studies. It does not have to be the same Christian college, but it does need to be a Christian college. In the event you change schools it is your responsibility to get me your school's new "Church Matching" forms in order to receive money from them. In the event you transfer to a school that is not considered "distinctively" Christian as outlined by the CCCU's requirements, students will not continue to receive money from FMC.

Does the college you are attending have a church matching fund? *
If your school has a "Church Matching" grant it is your responsibility to: Get Pastor Jake the form, Include all the info he would need to complete the form, and turn the form in to him at least 3 weeks before the form's deadline. If he does not receive the form from you, you will only receive money from FMC and not your school. If you turn the form in late, he cannot guarantee you will receive matching money from your school.

15-20 Hours of Volunteer Ministry *
In order to receive the scholarship FMC asks that you agree to the following: "While I am a recipient of scholarship funds from Fairview Missionary Church, I will attend Fairview Missionary Church when I am home. I will commit to 15-20 volunteer hours of volunteer service per year, to be done at FMC." Students need to submit the digital tracking form for volunteer hours by the last week of July because Aug. 1st is the deadline for FMC to send scholarship money to the various schools. It is likely a student may not have completed all their hours before they submit the form. By submitting the form students are indicating they will complete all the hours before they leave for school. If students are unable to complete all their hours before they submit the form, they will need to email Pastor Jake letting him know when the hours are complete: jake@fairviewangola.com
