There is growing interest in partnering with fungi to develop new materials, foods, medicines, environmental solutions and more. However, the tools available for applied mycology remain limited, slowing progress toward a thriving fungal future. 

To help bridge this gap, we founded Open Fung, a 501c3 non-profit dedicated to advancing fungal biotechnology through ethical open science and the arts. You can learn more about us and our projects here and explore our approach to open and accessible science and cultural engagement here. 

We are surveying people in the fungal innovation community to better understand where we can have the most impact. Your responses will help us prioritize our projects and pre-competitive research, while respecting your privacy and information sovereignty.
