Chamber Music Institute/So Cal — 2018 Composer Application
We are seeking submissions of finished works under 5 minutes, scored for any combination of strings (violin, viola, cello) and/or piano. Works must be for a chamber ensemble (one player per part) of between two and four DIFFERENT instruments (exception: works for 3 or 4 parts may include no more than 2 violin parts).

Composers of any age may submit; but they must not be established, career composers whose majority of works have been or are regularly performed. Our faculty will select the winning scores on the basis of quality and originality. To be complete fair, we ask you to select a pseudonym to label your materials.

Deadline to Submit Application: April 30

Payment is due on or before April 30 as a check for $50 payable to CMIsc and mailed to PO Box 1242, Artesia, CA 90702 or you may request an invoice sent to your email and you may pay online with a credit card (also due by April 30).
