I understand that, as with any pet, there are certain risks, such as salmonella and hantavirus, that come with adopting a rat or mouse. I will observe proper sanitation after handling my pets, and that StormHaven Rattery is not held liable for any of these. *

StormHaven rats are covered for 6 months for genetic health defects and temperament issues. They are also covered for 14 days after purchase for sickness as long as proper quarantine was observed & they were taken to your vet for a wellness check. We do not cover URIs or Tumors. *

If I can no longer keep my rats I agree to return them at no cost to StormHaven to be placed up for adoption. *

Under no circumstances are any rats purchased from StormHaven Rattery to be given up for rescue, resold or given away. If you are not able to keep the rats they are to be returned to StormHaven Rattery *

Fancy Rats can not handle cold temps under 65 degrees or Hot Temps over 85 degrees. I agree that rats will be living in my home and not outside. *

Your cage must be a spacious and proper cage before picking your rats up you will need to have a cage ready or you will forfeit your deposit.

A photo of a cage you intend to purchase will not satisfy the requirement.
