The Reading League and the National Committee for Effective Literacy Joint Statement
After The Reading League Summit 2023, a Joint Statement from Summit participants on Understanding the Difference: The Science of Reading and Implementation for English Learners/Emergent Bilinguals (ELs/EB) was drafted. It is our hope that this statement will help uplift and clarify the needs of EL/EB students and move the field forward, together.
