Designer Discard - participant form
Hey people it's that time again!

This year's Designer Discard takes place on Saturday, April 28th from 11:00am until 4:00pm
at SPIRIT in Lawrenceville at 147 Julius Street. Set up will begin at 9:30, details TBA.

This event is part of #FULLTIMEPGH. The vendor fee to participate is $30 (helps offset our vendor and insurance costs!) which we will collect from you following your approval.

Emerging makers
We're trying something new. If you're new to making and selling things, check this box to be considered for a reduced rate of $15. This is our way to highlight some new talent, with less "risk" to you. This is for people who have been doing this for no more than about a year (or maybe two).

You will need to provide your own cashbox/change, square reader, or whatever technology you need to make selling possible. We will do our best to provide power for you but cannot guarantee it. So charge up your iPad/phone/TI-80 in advance.

We're checking on the wifi situation, but you may need to bring your own. Spirit does not have public wifi.

We will reply as promptly as possible to confirm your inclusion.

Artists and craftspeople selling "seconds" are also welcome to sell first quality items at regular price, though we encourage a focus on "seconds" and discount wares.

I release the organizers of "Designer Discard" {Organization} from all liability relating to injuries that may occur {during activity, on location, etc.}. By signing this agreement, I agree to hold {Organization} entirely free from any liability, including financial responsibility for injuries incurred, regardless of whether injuries are caused by negligence. I also acknowledge the risks involved in this type of activity. These include but are not limited to financial loss, theft, personal injury, acts of God. I swear that I am participating voluntarily, and that all risks have been made clear to me. Additionally, I do not have any conditions that will increase my likelihood of experiencing injuries while engaging in this activity. By signing below I forfeit all right to bring a suit against {Organization} for any reason. In return, I will receive consideration for and potential participation in this event. I will also make every effort to obey safety precautions as listed in writing and as explained to me verbally. I will ask for clarification when needed.
