Computer Device RequirementAll students are required to bring a computer device and charger each day to school. Students are issued a school email, access to Google suite, and will daily use their computer devices to retrieve and submit assignments using Google Classroom.
NCHS provides a limited number of Chromebooks to be checked out for the school year on a first-come, first-served basis. We welcome students to bring their own device to school as long as it has a keyboard and can effectively run Google Suite (mobile devices are not an acceptable device for school use).
This Chromebook Request form must be completed by the parent or guardian of the student. After the request has been submitted, the student or parents may stop by the NCHS office to pick up the Chromebook during normal business hours.
Care Agreement
Students are responsible for securing Chromebook when not in use.
- Chromebook should not be loaned to or used by any other person, including family members, only the assigned student may use School issued Chromebook.
- Do not remove the school label on Chromebook.
- Chromebook & Charger must be returned by the end of the school year.
- Chromebook will be evaluated upon return and fees will be assessed by NCHS if damages are found.
- A power adapter will be issued per Chromebook, power cords must be returned to avoid a $25 replacement fee.
- Students are responsible for ensuring that components are not damaged (i.e. screen, keyboard, etc). It is recommended to have a protective case.
If Chromebook is not returned in working order you are responsible for the $350 replacement fee.

When you check out a school owned Chromebook, you agree to the Care Agreement. You are financially responsible for repairs or replacement of Chromebook and power cord. It is highly recommended that a protective cover be purchased for Chromebook.
