Young Athletes Foundation 2020 Events Volunteer Registration
Young Athletes Foundation volunteers play a significant role in creating memorable and successful events for our runners. More than 1,000 volunteers are needed throughout the year to support our fundraising race events for the Young Athletes Foundation--Thank you for signing up to be one of these amazing, kind-hearted people!

REGISTRATION:
You will have the option to select to volunteer as an INDIVIDUAL, CREATE A GROUP, or JOIN A GROUP.

CREATE A GROUP - By creating a group, I agree to being the Group Leader and assist with communicating volunteer info to the other members.

JOIN A GROUP - Groups consist of 2 or more people volunteering at the same location. Groups can consist of family, friends, church members, businesses, organizations, clubs, teams, etc

AGE GUIDELINE:
For the most enjoyable experience, we encourage that children be at least 15; some positions allow
children 10+, with the supervision of a parent or guardian. Groups of children should be supervised by a parent/guardian at an adult to child ratio of 10:1, respectively.

TRACKING VOLUNTEER HOURS:
If your volunteer hours need to be counted towards school, work, or another organization—you must bring a copy of your program’s volunteer tracking sheet. In order to have your hours tracked, you will need to check-in and check-out with the Volunteer Director to sign off on hours volunteered. Grandma’s Marathon does not provide a tracking sheet for hours or confirm volunteer hours after race day.

PLEASE NOTE:
The use of drugs, alcohol, and vaping/tobacco products are prohibited while volunteering.
