Open Fabric Sequences with Victoria

Are you captivated by the flowy movement of aerial silks? Are you looking for unique ways to explore movement? Join Victoria in exploring the art of open fabric as an extension of expression. This all level workshop will teach the aerialist ways to captivate the audience with beautiful moments of open fabric through two sequences and a chance to apply the theories and principles learned in this workshop to your own skillset.

Prerequisites: Ability to tie a footlock and invert from the ground. Level 1 and Up.

Victoria is an East Coast gal who got lost in the Prairies. She teaches aerial silks in Regina, Saskatchewan, and she is drawn to any and all skills where the fabrics flutter and dance with her movements. Victoria's teaching style focuses on exercising both the body and mind so that her students can all soar to great heights.

If you have taken classes outside of PCA, what is your aerial experience? In this workshop you must be able to  tie a footlock and invert from the ground. 
Please come on time or up to 10 minutes early.  Come ready to train - stretchy/ comfortable workout clothes WITHOUT zippers .

Due to the small size of the class there are no refunds due to cancellations unless I can fill your spot.

If a minimum number of students do not sign up, this class will have to be cancelled and you will receive a full refund for the remaining classes.

Workshop Description

This all level workshop will teach the aerialist ways to captivate the audience with beautiful moments of open fabric through two sequences and a chance to apply the theories and principles learned in this workshop to your own skillset. 


What to Wear:
* Leggings with no zippers and a top that can be tucked in. Please wear a shirt that covers your armpits and leggings or tights that cover the back of your knees to prevent fabric burns


* You will be going upside down and jumping/ running around to warm up.  We suggest wearing stretchy workout wear and a supportive sports bra.


* All jewelry must be removed before you begin for your protection and the protection of the silks.

* Socks can be worn during the warm-up, but they will need to be removed in order to work on the equipment.
