Dear Student,
Thank you for expressing an interest in becoming a DAPA. DAPAs are health opinion leaders who serve as resources to their peers; liaisons to their House Communities; and ambassadors for the Office of Alcohol & Other Drug Services. To become a certified DAPA, students are required to participate in 30 hours of training to gather extensive information on alcohol and other drug issues. DAPA Training is scheduled to take place on Tuesdays from 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm from February 13th – April 28th.

Completed applications may be submitted via the Google form below before the application deadline on Thursday, January 26, 2017, at 11:59 pm. There will also be an informational session to answer any questions regarding the application process on January 24, 2017 at 8pm in Ticknor Lounge. All responses will be kept confidential and reviewed only by the DAPA Selection Committee. First round of applications will be read name-blind. In addition, you must have a peer submit a letter of recommendation on your behalf. This letter should explain why you would make a good candidate for the DAPA Program, citing specific examples that highlight your leadership potential and ability to serve as a role model for your peers. Letters of support can be submitted through the website at www.harvarddapa.org/apply before the application deadline on Thursday, January 26, 2016, at 11:59 pm. You may be contacted for an interview as a final component of your candidacy. We look forward to reviewing your application!

Sincerely,
The DAPA Selection Committee
