By checking the box and submitting this form, you, the company and host, agree to the following:

1. Responsibilities of Host

The Host agrees to:

Organize, manage, and finance the event.
Share attendee information with the DCTW™ planning group of Techsgiving.
Assume all responsibilities for event logistics, including but not limited to venue arrangements, equipment rental, and catering.
Obtain all necessary permits, licenses, and insurance required for the event.
Handle all costs and expenses associated with the event.

2. Techsgiving’s Role

Techsgiving is providing a platform to facilitate the promotion of events during DC Tech Week™. Techsgiving’s role is limited to:

Listing the event on the DC Tech Week™ website and promotional materials.
Providing general event-related guidance, if requested.
Offering marketing and strategy support within the scope of DC Tech Week™'s promotional channels.

3. Liability and Risk

The Host acknowledges and agrees that:

Techsgiving is not liable for any costs, expenses, or financial obligations incurred by the Host in connection with the event.
Techsgiving assumes no liability for any injuries, damages, or losses that may occur during the event.
The Host agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Techsgiving, its officers, directors, employees, and affiliates from any claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses arising out of or in connection with the event.

4. Insurance

The Host is responsible for obtaining and maintaining all necessary insurance coverage for the event, including but not limited to general liability insurance, property insurance, and workers' compensation insurance.

5. Termination

Techsgiving reserves the right to withdraw support for the event at any time, with or without cause. In the event of withdrawal, Techsgiving will not be liable for any costs or damages incurred by the Host.

6. Miscellaneous

This Agreement constitutes the entire understanding between the parties and supersedes all prior agreements or understandings, whether written or oral.
This Agreement may be amended only in writing and signed by both parties.
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of [Your State].
