Do you care about the staff experience? Get a seat at the table! The SAT is focused on making the Institute, and Middlebury, a great place to work, and there has never been a more important time to get involved. The SAT meets regularly with leadership and will be working closely with our staff representatives to the Institute Board of Overseers (Ashley Arrocha) and Staff Council (Bob Cole and another representative to be appointed in July) to ensure that staff voices can be heard. Over the next year we will be charting the course of officially operating as a new district on the Middlebury Staff Council while also continuing to organize the monthly staff meet-ups and important community-building opportunities that connect our staff. We have also added a training and development liaison (Melissa Sorenson) to increase collaboration with our organizational development office and ensure that staff have meaningful opportunities to grow. Our continuing SAT members are Carolyn Taylor Meyer and Breanna Donofrio,  and we are looking for additional members that would be interested in creating our monthly newsletter, organizing events, and helping plan the monthly staff meet-ups.
