Massachusetts Exploring Computer Science Partnership Teacher Application
MECSP will be offering professional development to high school teachers who wish to teach Exploring Computer Science, an introductory course of six units (year-long) structured to facilitate inquiry and equity-based instructional practices. First consideration will go to applications submitted by January 2017. In order to participate, schools must agree to put ECS on the course schedule for 2017-18. The professional development program begins with a one-week summer institute (locations in Massachusetts in July and August TBA). Pending funding, quarterly workshops prepare teachers to lead upcoming units throughout the year. ECS professional development is facilitated by veteran Mass. ECS Teachers who are trained Facilitators. For more information, see: mecsp.org or contact the Hub leader in your region. Complete the application below to be considered.
