We are Local Sauce Tours - a team of fun-loving Sydney enthusiasts excited to show off our amazing city! We are seeking some passionate, high-energy tour guides to join our fabulous small team. If you love Sydney and love meeting new people this is the role for you!
We run a range of guided walking tours around inner-city Sydney that are engaging, informative and memorable. We help guests discover hidden gems they would never find on their own, learn all about Sydney, and have an amazing time.
Successful candidates will be trained to guide food tours, bar tours, walking tours and private corporate tours so you must be adaptable and comfortable with groups of all ages, sizes and interests.
This is a casual position with hours varying week to week, ranging from 3-10 hours per week to begin with. Availability for at least 3 weekend days a month is preferable.
The role is perfect for someone who wants additional income and wants to have a great time in a job they love. It's not for someone who needs a full-time job that will pay all their bills. There may be opportunity for growth as the Local Sauce Tours team and brand expands into the future, so please list any other skills/interests you have in your application.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Confident, enthusiastic and passionate
- Friendly, welcoming and non-judgemental
- A genuine love for Sydney
- Enjoy sharing stories and exploring places
- Interested in street art, architecture, history and nightlife
- Love meeting and talking to new people
- Immersed in the city’s culture, attends events and visits venues regularly
- Fast learner and interesting in doing own learning and research
- Curious and always seeking new knowledge
- Reliable, flexible and adaptable
- Strong communication skills with the ability to project voice loudly
- Comfortable working and managing groups of all sizes and ages
- Strong work ethic and time management skills
- Available for 2-3 weekend days a month
