Shabbat Lab: A Hands-On Family Experience & Shabbat Lab Your Way: Especially for Families with a Mixed Heritage
There are many ways to celebrate Shabbat at home and we’d like to help you craft some traditions that will be meaningful for your individual family. Shabbat Lab is a guided, activity-filled hands-on celebration of Shabbat tailored specifically for you. Join two other families to connect with traditions and make new memories.

Sign up to attend or host an in-home, potluck or catered Shabbat gathering Friday evening or Saturday. We’ll form groups of 3 families and work with you to curate activities, rituals and learning that works for everyone. Form a group yourself, or rely on us and walk away with a celebration kit, a deeper understanding of several Shabbat rituals, and an experience that will empower you to confidently create meaningful Shabbat traditions that are fun and relevant for you and your children.

Thanks to grant funding from the Jewish Community Federation, Kesher Marin and the Osher Marin JCC have partnered to host Shabbat Lab Your Way - the same hands-on experience with a few small tweaks to make it even more accessible and welcoming for families with a mixed heritage.
