Shavuot 2020/5780: Caring for our Community
Shavuot 2020/5780: Caring for our Community

Shavuot is the Jewish holiday of revelation. We celebrate the receiving of Torah in the wilderness of Sinai and come together to dwell in shared learning, community-building, reveling/revealing.

We will be sharing this virtual gathering with Kadima.

Our celebration will go from Thursday evening, May 28 through Saturday night, May 30.

Our theme for this year is:

Caring for our Community: Home, Family, Synagogue, and the World.

Our celebration will be filled with davvening, music, learning, hands-on workshops, and more!

We invite you to submit a proposal for one of our learning sessions. We encourage sessions that might help us navigate our global new normal, as seen through the lens of Jewish text, culture, home, or community life. In what ways can Judaism help us create even healthier communities in the future?
