August 6th Seed Saving: Processing Peppers (Apprenticeship Gathering)
Interested in learning how to save seeds? Join this hands-on CRAFT Workshop & Potluck as we gather to process Ashe County Pimento Peppers at Appalachian State University's Sustainable Development Teaching and Research Farm. This workshop will also feature a tour of the farm and talks by former farm apprentices, who are now doing exciting and creative food system projects.

The goal of the SD Farm is to become a multi-purpose, integrated farming system that produces healthy food, fiber, and other raw materials that can be cultivated successfully on a small scale.
