About the Partnerships Program

The Dawson School Partnerships Program is a new initiative connecting our community with students through a range of professional and service-based opportunities. By leveraging the expertise and resources of our alumni, parents, and the broader community, we aim to provide students with invaluable real-world experiences. We believe these partnerships will not only enrich our students' education but also strengthen the bonds within our community.

Partnership Opportunities (check all that apply)

Student Mentorship and Careers: Offering career advice, job shadowing, or sharing professional insights in workshops.

Internships: Providing a high school student with a short-term, immersive work experience. This is a great way to help students explore a career path and apply their classroom knowledge in a professional environment.

Senior Projects: Hosting a senior for their capstone project. Students explore a topic of passion through a hands-on, long-term project, often requiring mentorship and a real-world setting.

Expertise Sharing: Connecting faculty and staff with your professional skills (in technology, finance, marketing, etc.) to enhance our educational excellence.

Guest Speaker: Sharing your professional journey and expertise by speaking to a class or a group of students. Whether it's a deep dive into your industry or a talk about your career path, your insights can inspire and inform our students.

Institutional Stewardship: Lending your professional skills to special projects or joining key committees (such as Admissions, Events, or Finance).

Community and Network Building: Volunteering to host or sponsor local events that strengthen our vibrant community.

Community Service Projects: Partnering with our students on meaningful service projects that benefit local organizations. This is a chance to mentor students while making a positive impact together.

Event Sponsorship: Supporting key school events, from academic showcases, community events, and athletics. Your sponsorship helps us create exceptional experiences for our students and provides visibility for your business or organization within the Dawson community.
