School Lunch Order Form for December 2025
Dear Families,

Important Reminder: As the holidays approach, it’s easy to lose track of lunch balances. Please take a moment to review your student’s account to keep payments current and avoid negative balances. Balances carry over year to year, and parents are responsible for monitoring accounts and arranging any necessary payments. Staff are not responsible for notifying students about low or negative balances. Full payment instructions and account policies are provided following the lunch ordering section.

To order school lunch, you must complete the online Lunch Order Form by midnight on Thursday before the week your student needs lunch. The Lunch Order Form link is always available on the school’s main page at Renacademy.org under “Lunch Order Form.” Please select one option per day for the days your student is eating school lunch.

Meal Prices for 2025–26 School Year:

• Lunch: $3.25
• Breakfast: $2.00
• A la carte milk: $0.50 (currently the only a la carte item offered; students must have funds in order to purchase a la carte milk.)
Meals are available for full-day students only.

Families approved for the Free & Reduced-Price Meals Program:

• Breakfast (reduced price): $0.30
• Lunch (reduced price): Free for the 2025-26 school year


To qualify for free or reduced meals, students must take a full reimbursable meal. A la carte items, such as extra milk or single components without the full meal, are not covered and must be purchased separately. 

Lunch orders must be submitted separately for each student. The form can be completed one week at a time or for the entire month. From Monday through Thursday, please choose one option for each day: hot lunch, PB&J, or turkey & cheese sandwich. A copy of your responses will be emailed to you to help keep track of your orders. You may skip any days when school lunch is not needed.

On Fridays, we offer sack lunches from 12:15 PM to 12:40 PM. Student may choose either a PB&J or turkey & cheese sandwich. Friday sack lunches must be eaten in the cafeteria before your student is released to go home. If you are picking up students, aim to arrive 10–15 minutes after 12:15 PM to allow time for lunch.

If you order PB&J or a deli sandwich for your student Monday through Thursday, please remind them to clearly tell us their first and last name to the serving staff. Most students choose the hot lunch, which is served by default, so the serving staff rely on students to let them know if they have a sandwich option for the day. They work from a printed list organized by grade and do not have access to photos or ID numbers, those are only available later at checkout with the cashiers. After picking up their meal, students still go through the salad bar then checkout. Saying their name helps ensure they receive exactly what was ordered.

Due to labor constraints, food availability, and our delivery schedule, we prepare the lunch participation report every Friday morning to place orders for the following week. Our food delivery arrives on Mondays, covering the entire week’s menu. Because food must be ordered in advance, timely lunch sign-ups are essential to ensure every student gets their meal. Late or missing orders increase the chance of shortages and may lead to serving an alternative option if a specific choice runs out

Breakfast is served daily from 7:40 AM to 7:55 AM. Please ensure your child arrives on time and finishes eating by 7:55 AM, as PE begins at 8:00 AM and we need to prepare for class. No survey is required for breakfast due to the small number of attendees.

Online Payments: Find the “Online Payments” link on the right hand side of the school’s website (www.renacademy.org). The link will take you to Core Payments website (SIP) https://secureinstantpayments.com/sip/?ID=21717. In addition to single payments, SIP has the option to schedule auto payments for your convenience.   

Onsite Payments: Payments made by cash and/or check may be given to the front office or kitchen. When making an onsite payment, please write school lunch at the top of the envelope, your student’s names, ID#, grade and payment amount.   

Alternate Meals for Negative Balances
When a student’s account reaches a negative balance of $15.00, they may be provided with a reduced-price alternate meal for $1.25. This meal includes a cheese sandwich, salad bar (fruits and vegetables), and milk. We do our best to make this process discreet and supportive.
