The Connecticut Association of Biliteracy and Bicultural Education (CABBE) is organizing a conference on Saturday, February 8th 2025 9:00-12:30 (online via Zoom), focusing on biliteracy and bicultural education. The conference aims to provide a platform for sharing innovative practices and exploring biliteracy and bicultural education.
CABBE is seeking dynamic presenters who are passionate about driving success in bilingual and multilingual settings. The call is open to educators, administrators, and experts who can present a 50-55-minute workshop on the following key topics: Interactive Literacy Strategies, Digital Tools for Language Acquisition, Culturally Responsive Teaching, Policy and Legistation, Assessing and Promoting Biliteracy, Community Partnership Development, and Family Engagement Workshops.
Proposals should highlight the 50-55-minute session and provide practical, actionable solutions and strategies for educators and administrators. They should also consider the incorporation of biliteracy and bicultural education in reshaping educational approaches and offer insights into adapting to these changes.
