EAG Volunteering

EAG's mission is to provide emergency aid and support to professional performers of all faiths and none who are undergoing financial crisis. This mission is only possible with the support of our members and community. To that end, we are reaching out to see how we might better engage with the skills and generosity of our membership. Would you be interested in volunteering in any of the following activities?

PANTRY PARADES: Meeting at Trader Joe's (about 5 blocks from EAG), helping us to pick up and then cart food back to the Actors Pantry at EAG. (in-person, 1 hour) **this is our most-needed**

MEMBER PHONE-A-THONS: Calling recently-expired or soon-to-expire members to see if they would like to renew. (remote, 1-2 hour)

THANK YOU TEAM: Making phone call thank yous and mailing short, hand-written cards to donors. (remote, on your own time)

EVENT STAFF: Help us run our events and receptions (in-person, usually 3-4 hours)

EAG AMPLIFIERS: Find places to list our events, leave information on our emergency services, hang posters, etc. (remote, on your own time)

BOARD SERVICE - Be considered for future service on EAG's Council, our governing body. Council meets 5x a year and members make an annual volunteer or monetary commitment to EAG.
