'Let's Grow Vermont' Economic Tour
The Lamoille Chamber of Commerce is teaming up with the Vermont Chamber and the Vermont Futures Project to build an agenda for growth by focusing on solutions to address the state's workforce challenge.

The Vermont Futures Project has identified that Vermont needs 10,000 new workers each year to keep pace with our current rate of growth. Keeping our children in this state is not enough, we must think outside of the box to attract quality workers and families here.

Where will they come from?
How will we get more people in our workforce?
Are there special populations we could focus on? If so, how do we attract them to Vermont?
How will we get more families to relocate to Vermont?
How do we utilize our baby boomer workers who aren't ready to stop working and who can bring a wealth of benefits to businesses?

The Vermont Chamber needs your ideas to build an agenda to bring to the Statehouse for the 2018 legislative session. Our goal is to create priorities which increase job opportunities, increase the tax base, increase economic activity and increase the workforce. To help businesses garner a better understanding of recent legislation and what to expect during the 2018 legislative session, we will also present on legislative issues.
