Conversations...for Such a Time as This

From honest conversation to faithful action. A four-part series open to people from any community of faith.

In a moment marked by uncertainty, fear, and deep questions, the Church is called to both attention and action.
Conversations…For Such a Time as This is a four-part series of shared theological reflection and discernment, exploring what we are feeling, what is happening around us, and how we are called to respond as people of faith in this place and in this moment.

February 25: Naming the weather
What are we carrying into this moment?
How do these feelings show up in faith, prayer, silence, withdrawal, urgency?

March 4: What is Feeding the Fire?
What is driving polarization, fear, scapegoating, erosion of trust?
What is happening in the US? What is happening in Canada? Ontario? Toronto?

March 11: The Process of Discernment
How do we listen for what faithfulness asks of us?
Where do we feel resistance, and why?

March 25: How do we Faithful Take Action?
How do we respond, personally and together?
What should the church say, do, and refuse?
How do we stay rooted in love, courage, and accountability over time?
What do we need? Training? Resources? People?
