This is the official google form that Mr. Wellington uses to register students for IB exams. Before you fill it out, you must share the IB exam information packet with your parent or the family member responsible for making IB exam payments.

IB EXAM POLICY AT EWHS - ACKNOWLEDGMENTS

In September, students began the exam registration process and were provided an IB exam information packet that carefully details the cost of each registration and exam. Students were required to share the IB exam information pamphlet with parents prior to this exam registration - and parents have been provided an extended opportunity to review the exam rules and fees and make appropriate, personal decisions about signing up for IB exams.

Reminder: We have many ways to assist families with payment options, and the state provides a funding waiver for families that qualify for free-and-reduced lunch. Students who do not qualify for free-and-reduced lunch who also need additional financial assistance should contact Mr. Wellington immediately.

I have received an IB Exam Registration Packet from Mr. Wellington.

I have shared the IB Exam Registration Packet with my parents and discussed it with them. I have their authorization to sign up for IB exams this year, and to sign my IB exam confirmation forms.

I acknowledge that I am responsible for all exam costs, and all costs relating to changes made after the registration period ends on November 15, 2024, even if I have left the course or the school. Mr. Wellington or Ms. Deschler may share my F/RL status with the state and the IBO so that I may qualify for IB exam discounts.

I acknowledge that I must share IB invoices with my parents as soon as I receive them from Mr. Wellington/Ms. Deschler and I agree that - if the bill is unpaid - the balance will be placed as a fine on my EWHS student account.

I understand that November 14, 2024 is the final date to drop IB exams without incurring any cost, and that I will be responsible for all IB exam fees, even if I drop the class after November 15th. I acknowledge that I can cancel my IB exam, prior to November 15th, without any penalty.

I understand that - if I qualify for exam accommodations - I am required to visit Mr. Wellington/Ms. Deschler prior to November 15, 2024, and provide him with required medical documentation. I acknowledge that I cannot receive IB exam accommodations without taking action to receive them.

Payment Acknowledgment: I understand that, except for Diploma Recognition fees and Postage/EW fees, all examination fees are sent to IBO to cover the cost of exam development, preparation, and marking. Exam fees are not kept by the Edmonds School District or EWHS and cannot be returned for any reason. I am aware that - unless I qualify for free-and-reduced lunch - I AM RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL EXAM COSTS and that they will be placed on my record as student fines if I do not make payments, even if I drop the class after November 15th. *
