Baptism is a symbol of your commitment to the Lord, joining the family of Christ and starting a "new life". In preparation for this significant event in your student/child's life, we would encourage you to read to them or have them read and meditate on Romans 6:1-23. Being baptized is a symbol of your old sinful life being buried when you go under the water and then when you are lifted out of the water, you are rising again in your new life with Christ.
