Settlement: Some semesters ago, GSOC filed a collective grievance concerning all Teaching Assistants in the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences. The union argued that any TAs who were required to attend lecture in order to do their job should be compensated for the time spent attending lecture. And we won! We’re thrilled that thanks to the collective power of our union, GSAS TAs will now be compensated for lecture attendance time. This grievance dates back to Fall 2022 and through Spring 2024.

Payments were made in early August 2024, with information on payslips on PeopleSync. Please check both PeopleSync and your bank accounts to find if you were paid.
