Book Request Form

Thank you for your interest in receiving books from Indy Book Project.

Indy Book Project’s goal is book ownership.  Every book we give away is intended to go home with a child to keep.  Any individual, group, or organization in Central Indiana that provides books for children to keep may submit a request.  Please note that we are unable to fulfill requests for classroom libraries.

While we wish we were able to fulfill all requests, submitting a request does not guarantee we will be able to provide the books you need.  Approvals are based on our current book inventory, and priority is given to existing partnerships and those serving underprivileged and under-resourced youth.  If we are unable to fulfill your request, you will be notified via email.  

The time it takes to fulfill requests varies significantly depending on the size of the order, our book supply, and the volume of requests in our queue. Although some orders are fulfilled quickly, others may take several weeks or longer. If your books are needed by a certain date, please indicate this on the request form. While we cannot guarantee availability by a particular date, knowing your timeline is helpful.  We strongly encourage you to submit your request as early as possible.

To ensure we provide books that best suit your needs, please include as much detail and information as possible on the request form.

Once your books are ready, you will receive an email to schedule a pickup time from our office at 1539 W. Oak St. in Zionsville.  We kindly ask that you respond to the email in a timely manner.  Due to space constraints, we cannot hold books in our office for extended periods as we need the space to fill other orders.
