📚 Every child deserves a home library
Indy Book Project provides free books to children across Central Indiana so they can build home libraries of their own. All books distributed are meant for children to take home and keep.
⚠️ High Request Volume
We are currently experiencing a high volume of requests. Fulfillment may take several weeks or longer. Thank you for your patience as we work to get books into as many children’s hands as possible.
📋 Request Guidelines
Who can apply
Any individual, group, or organization distributing books directly to children to take home and keep.
Important reminders
📖 Requests for classroom libraries or shared collections cannot be fulfilled.
🌎 We primarily serve Central Indiana, but requests from other areas in Indiana may be considered if you can arrange pickup.
⏱️ Timeline & Pickup
Requests are fulfilled based on inventory and volume. If books are needed by a specific date, please include that on this form. We recommend submitting your request as early as possible.
📍 Pickup Information
If approved, you will receive an email to schedule pickup from our office at 1539 W. Oak St., Zionsville Note: Because space is limited, we ask that you schedule and collect your books promptly once notified.
⭐ Priority Consideration
We strive to fulfill as many requests as possible. When inventory is limited, priority may be given to organizations serving children in under-resourced communities.
