Building on the success of last year’s first-ever Electoral Integrity Summit in Africa, the event returns for its second edition—bigger, bolder, and louder!

When? 11-12 November 2025
Where? Lusaka, Zambia

Hosted by AfEONet with support from the Christian Churches Monitoring Group, the summit will be held in Lusaka, Zambia, under the theme “Defending Democracy and Reclaiming Civic Space.”

This continental gathering will identify solutions to current threats to electoral integrity, share best practices and standardise approaches for citizen-led electoral observation, examine the role of emerging technologies, and underrepresented voices in Africa’s democratic future.

What to expect?
  • A roadmap for continental cooperation on post-election follow-up
  • Concrete recommendations on electoral-related issues
  • Stronger networks and coalitions advancing electoral integrity across Africa
